Environmental sustainability is currently a hot topic that is being addressed at different levels: political, social and economic. Wood and its derivatives are environmentally friendly materials with insulating properties that contribute to reducing CO2 emissions, which are responsible for climate change.

This seminar featured presentations and debates on environmental sustainability from the business and education sectors, in the areas of wood and cork transformation and installation and furnishings.

The event was attended by companies and experts in environmental sustainability, technology and innovation in the sector, business and trade union organisations, as well as public institutions linked to the environment, employment and education.

Key issues discussed during the seminar:

PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY. CIRCULAR ECONOMY ECOLABELS AND ECODESIGN. CERTIFICATIONS OF WOOD AND CORK DERIVATIVES. SUSTAINABLE WOOD CONSTRUCTION. CHAIN OF CUSTODY CERTIFICATIONS. SUSTAINABLE CONTRACT FURNITURE. CIRCULAR ECONOMY VS INDUSTRY 4.0. NEW PROFESSIONAL SKILLS FOR SUSTAINABILITY AND INNOVATION.
